
This evening I was interviewed by my publisher, Cambridge University Press’s Head of Humanities Alex Wright, about Silence of the Gods at the Bury St Edmunds Literature Festival. In an event at Bury’s Unitarian Meeting House we discussed the themes of the book such as religious creolisation, the survival of paganism in Europe, and the ways in which studying Europe’s last pagans can expand our concepts of the nature of religion.
