This evening I launched my new book Silence of the Gods at the Cambridge University Press Bookshop in Cambridge, in conversation with Alex Wright, the Head of Humanities at CUP who has commissioned all of my books for the press – Magic in Merlin’s Realm, Twilight of the Godlings and now Silence of the Gods. Alex asked me about my inspiration for the book and its key themes, before members of the audience contributed their own questions. I am very grateful to Alastair Lynn and the rest of the team at the CUP Bookshop for hosting the event, where I was also interviewed on camera about the book for additional video shorts that should be available soon. I signed several copies of the book for sale in the bookshop, so signed copies should now be available to buy. It was also good to see the window display dedicated to Silence of the Gods and my other books!
